oystick not found: logitech driving force usb (0)

hello all,

i have been struggling for the past few days with this, going back and forth on the wiki page and other forms. here is what i have
-gimx adaptor (with the emug29ps4.hex firmware loaded)
-osw wheel
-he sim pedals ultimale
-ascher racing button plate
-logitech driving force_g29.xml (config)
-dual shock 4 controller (plugged directly into cpu)

in the gimx config window i can see all my devices show up. i can assign button inputs to my button plate and axis inputs to my he sim pedals and osw wheel. when i go to gimx launcher i get the same error message: joystick not found: logitech driving force usb (0)


any ideas to get this working. having a hard time understanding what I am missing here

Hello,

You are trying to use Logitech driving force configuration which is not intended for your wheel and gimx-launcher says he cannot find Logitech wheel which is true. You need to make your own config. Check the guide here - https://gimx.fr/wiki/index.php?title=Cr ... igurations

Thanks Daniel I will give it a try and see how it goes. Final question: after I setup my configuration what wheel dies it say I have? A Logitech? Ultimately trying to use current setup for gt sport on the ps4.

For GIMX you have normal OSW wheel. For console you will have G29.

Awesom. So I finally got it to work or atleast connect with my ps4. However I don't have any steering controls (left right) I do have lots of force feed back. How do I get left and right to work on my osw wheel?

You need to make your own configuration

Right. I made my own configuration. How do I configure wheel within the configuration? I can see and add the wheel in the axis tab. But in game the wheel has no response left right
