Not able to launch GIMX on Ubuntu 14.4

I am very new to GIMX setup. I have a Ubuntu machine and a PS4 (Duel shock 4 Controller). I am trying to connect it through USB adapter. I have a Teensy 2.0 + CP 2102 adapter setup. Whenever I launch Gimx, I get "can't read packet header" error. I tried to interchange RX and TX, but no luck. I updated firmware EMUPS4/atmega32u4.hex on my teensy. Hi,
You cannot connect the Teensy board like this. You have to solder pins or wires on the Teensy board.

The jumper pins on the Teensy are already soldered. If you think this is not the right way to connect, then I will try to solder pins and will try again.

There's a connection issue here. Probably a faulty contact.
For further help post a clear picture showing all the cables.
