No FFB with DIY cable, at90usb1287, G27 (SOLVED)

Yes, FFB works on pc with the LGS test like in this video:



It also works on ps3 with GT6.

Tested with other pc, Windows 7 64bit. No change.

EDIT: Tested on linux (ubuntu 14.04 64bit). No change.

The issue is probably due to the at90usb1287 board.

Yes, I can finally confirm it. My atmega32u4 based board arrived and it... Just Work™! Now I can enjoy my ps4 racing games with my G27 AND FFB! And relax...

So, it seems that the at90usb1287 is not fully compatible. Maybe it can be fixed, and I would like to help, if I can. Or maybe it is my board that is partialy faulty.

Also updating to confirm that the first USB to UART adapter that I got, based on CH340, is fully compatible with GIMX with FFB.

Hi Matio, I'm having a similar issue with a DFGT and a Teensy ++2 at90usb1286. Is this board fully compatible or do I need to replace it as did the OP?

It may be the same issue.
There's no such issue with atmega32u4 boards.
