Wrong refresh rate

Post by shota »

hi

The same?(similar) problem happens to me.
After upgrade GIMX 1.12 to 3.0, input delay occurred.
I noticed that "refresh rate" is very low (about 2Hz~10Hz) in 3.0 while 90Hz in 1.12.
Then I tried each older version 2.0 to 2.5 but same problem remained.
Now I restored ver 1.12.
Did anyone face this problem?

thank you

This is probably unrelated, so I split the topic. Are you sure your commands are delayed 100ms~500ms? Or could the displayed refresh rate be wrong?

I am sure that my input was delayed for several seconds.

In my "config file", I use both joystick(PS3 sixaxis using Qtsxia) and keyboard.
When fresh rate is very low(several Hz or so), Keyboard input is not delayed though joystick input is awful delayed.
I will upload desktop capture image later when I return home.

thank you

Do you use the same bluetooth dongle for both Gimx and QtSixA? I think using one dongle for each software could solve your issue.

Sorry for being late to your help because of my work...

And I get newest version 3.2 and the same problem remains....
But in this version, refresh rate is 44Hz...lagy...(with QtSixA, contrast to 88Hz(without QtSixA))
I used the same dongle for both Gimx and QtSixA.( I inserted only one bluetooth connecter to my machine.)

Can you help me?

QtSixA seems to interfere with GIMX because they use the same bluetooth adapter.
Your best option is to buy another bluetooth adapter, and to use one for GIMX, and one for QtSixA.
