Hi,
I am using my nvidia shield with mcshieldlauncher which use a vjoy device on the pc for input.
Using this, because the default shield joysticks have a bad deadzone. So i can fix this for pc games by using this solution.
Since 2.0 he doesn't detect the vjoy device as input if I press any key but he detects the device xbox 360 controller.
He detects input only for 1-2 inputs after this gimx goes totally crazy and doesn't detect any further input.
Looks like the shield software add a xbox 360 controller device to the pc if I start streaming for the controls (which isn't visible in the joystick device manager) and gimx doesn't know which one it should use.
Still working fine with version <2.0

Edit: Same with native shield control without any mapping programm running.
Detects a xbox 360 controller as input which works with 1-2 inputs. After this he doesnt detect any input :/
Maybe your change with https://github.com/matlo/GIMX/issues/221 has something to do with this ?

I pushed a new config named "PS3_WINDOWS_X360PadXinput_usb.xml" that can be downloaded with the Help>Get Configs menu in gimx-launcher.

Gimx always receives the controller events before the vjoy events, which is why vjoy events can't be detected in gimx-config and gimx-fpsconfig.
I think this is not really a problem since you can fix the dead zone with GIMX.

But the old solution was one step less for me xD
