DIY USB adapter with ATMega2560?

Post by Tr3nDy »

Hey,

I would like to know if it´s possible to get the DIY USB adapter running on an Arduino Mega (based on ATMega2560). Well I think it is possible but i need a compatible firmware for this MCU. The ones you provide in the firmware.zip are for smaller MCUs. Do you have one for ATMega2560 lying around or can the firmware easily be rewritten?

I hope you can give me some suggestions how I can get the adapter running.

Best regards,
Alex

Hi,

This MCU is not compatible because it has no USB interface: http://www.atmel.com/devices/atmega2560 ... parameters
