Game Input MultipleXer

I have read the wiki and FAQ and can get the connection going for about 30 sec then it drops out

the GIMX software version: 1.11
the OS: Ubuntu 13.10 64bit
the adapter: bluetooth broadcom internal sony vaio VPCCB15FG
the console: PS3 fat?
the game: Battlefield 4
the controller: Logitech M325 (1000dpi)

The wiki says this:

You should prefer CSR bluecore4 chips over any other chips (some CSR bluecore2 chips and some Broadcom chips do not work reliably).

Can you recommend a dongle to buy available from ebay? will an asus USB-BT211 work?

Another possibility is to build an adapter as explained there: http://gimx.fr/wiki/index.php?title=DIY ... or_dummies
It is much more stable than the bluetooth way.
