[PS4] Logitech G27 wheel shifter buttons mapped to R1 / L1

Hi,

I noticed that the wheel shifter buttons are mapped to L1 and R1 and the buttons in the lowest row on the wheel can't be assigned at all.
I would expect that the shifter buttons are separated buttons and the R1 to R3 buttons are represented by the rows directly on the wheel.
Especially because in the default configuration of Project CARS, wheel up and down options are assigned to special shift buttons.

Setup:
  • * Logitech G27
    * DIY USB ADAPTER:
    • * CP2102 USB to Serial Adapter
      * Pro Micro ATmega32U4 board
    * Playstation 4
    * Testing with Project CARS
This happens either when running
Thanks in advance,

Bonko

Just use gimx-config to remap your buttons!

thanks, I will do so

However, I wonder: can different wheels (e.g. production charges) behave different or is something broken in https://github.com/matlo/GIMX-configura ... 27_G29.xml?

No, this config was made by another gimx user that uses this mapping.

ok, thanks.for the explanation.

I just tried to configure it with gimx-config and it looks like it is not possible at all, because no "shift down/shift up" button exists to whom I could assign this:

Which is totally OK for me, I just wanted to know

Left paddle is L1, and right paddle is R1.

Maybe I should change the names. "Left paddle (L1)" and "Right paddle (R1)" would be easier to understand.
