What it looks like doesn't mean anything, they all have quite the same shape.

I'm curious, does this emulator only work with a mouse and keyboard? I have a wired xbox 360 pad I use on my PC, could I map the emulator to that and control my PS3 with it?

I use my wired Xbox 360 controller with GIMX to coop Lara Croft Guardian of Light since I only have one Dualshock 3 controller. It works great, doesn't feel weird or sluggish or anything.

Both. Only difference is the lack of the PS button over USB. Everything else is dandy.

The other day I saw a thread giving a linux console command that would show what chip a BT dongle contains but I can't find it now :(

Can someone link me to it please?

No need to type anything in a terminal, the chip manufacturer and version (if available) are shown in sixemugui.

Thanks.

I'm just reading the tutorial step 2 says "Plug your sixaxis (and the bt dongle, if external) to your PC".

What exactly is my sixaxis?

That is your ps3 controller that you got with the ps3. (or if you bought an official ps3 controller.)

plug it in with the usb cable.
