can this style of wheel work ?
i built my son a driving simulator some time ago and it uses this wheel
http://www.terapeak.com/worth/logitech- ... 876215040/
Logitech Driving force
i have been able to get it to autoconfig and recognise the buttons when they are pressed etc in the gimx config
however - device manager sees it as a usb input device
i bought the gimx recently from the shop and i think it is working
not yet been able to get the wheel to work

Re: can this style of wheel work ?
i m not sure but i think i found the problem - i installed the 32bit logitech drivers not the 64 bit drivers
Re: can this style of wheel work ?
Hi,
This wheel should work. The only limitation is that the wheel range can only be either 200 or 900 degrees.
Once you have a working configuration, please post it so that I can add it into the config repository!

Re: can this style of wheel work ?
Not been having much luck with the GIMX
I can not get the Driving Force wheel to work at all
I tried a G25 wheel - the ps4 will recognise it as a controller. The gear stick buttons work but the pedals and steering wheel do not work at all
i am doing something wrong here - do i need to reprogram the firmware for the Gimx ?

Re: can this style of wheel work ?
Try this one for the Driving Force wheel: http://pastebin.com/raw/htBVT4d8
Try the LogitechG25_G29.xml configuration for the G25 wheel (get it through Help>Download configs in gimx-launcher).

Re: can this style of wheel work ?
Hi Guys
I tried the set up and the wheel worked but the buttons were wrong.
Below is the set up I made and it seems to work perfectly
The forcefeedback seems a bit strong - do i need to turn it down in the software on the PS4 ?
thank you for your help, I am really impressed with your product

Re: can this style of wheel work ?
Hi,
I noticed that you changed the device name from "Logitech Driving Force USB" to "Logitech Driving Force".
How did you got the first one?
Could you please tell me what is the value of the following key in the registry?
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\VID_046D&PID_C294\OEMName
EDIT: also, what is your Windows version?
