Re: failed to read packet header

Sorry for the late answer, I didn't have much time those last two weeks. I'm on Windows 10. And I confirm that none of the board are recognized after flashing them. I'll try to do the soldering this week-end. Hopefully after soldering is done the issue is gone. Had a conversation with another dude ...

Re: DS4 button mapping wrong with new device

Very strange. I suppose that you are running windows 10 on both machines? Try downloading the latest CP210x driver https://www.silabs.com/developer-tools/usb-to-uart-bridge-vcp-drivers If you haven't i suggest you download the latest chipset driver for your computer. Sound like timeout issue. After ...

Re: DS4 button mapping wrong with new device

Hey.
I tried opening the Config in GIMX Config but i can't see anything wrong with it.
Have you changed any buttonmapping/gamepad configuration in the game?
Have you assigned any special button mapping in the PS4 settings?

Make a new config and try again?

Re: failed to read packet header

Device manager should have the atmega showing. Like this https://europe1.discourse-cdn.com/arduino/optimized/4X/0/a/5/0a54ddc705716eca53bd665b61d6ade5dfa91d83_2_689x500.jpeg Yes i highly recomment that you solder the wires since the connection is unstable with jumper connections. If you think its ha...

Re: failed to read packet header

Hello. Have you soldered the wires between the cp2102 and atmega? Also when you installed Gimx did you reboot the computer? These might sound like stupid questions but they are infact important. Bad connection when using jumperwires. And the amount of fault people are having with gimx if not rebooti...

Re: GiMX Unhandled Packets Causing Freezing and Wheel Unresponsive

Hey :D
This forum is very quiet and has been like that for couple of months.
I'm still semi active here, watching every new posts.
(Most from spam bots).

I would suggest you try Windows 10 if you are able to.
Drivers are not updated for the newer Windows version.

Re: Gimx 8.0 install disables usb drives during install

Windows 11 is most likely the issue, if it works on Windows 10. I did a quick search on google and found a thread on reddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/esp8266/s/1DxPqUD5wo Seems to be USB drivers that is causing the problem. He got it working with an USB hubb (not ideal for GIMX) but if it works howe...
