Greetings from New Brunswick, Canada. i've been contemplating using your software, and purchasing the hardware to build this for my ps3. I havent made the jump to console gaming, cause i've always done the PC route. but all my friends are playing BF3 on the Ps3...so i finally bit the bullet and bought bf3 with a ps3 to play with them online.
I am wondering, before i order the parts, using GIMX.....can you do a complete rotation with your character in BF3 using mouse/keyboard on the relatively normal configurations you see posted here? If you can spin around in a complete 360 at least once, without lifting the mouse off the table, i'd be completely thrilled!!! Hopefully it doesn't take rediculously high sensitivity to do this....as i still want to be able to aim at long ranges with a sniper rifle in bf3....so i dont want the sensitivity too crazy. i think in PC games, they call this mouse acceleration? If you whip the mouse really fast left or right, it gives more input? Is this a feature in GIMX?
If this all goes according to plan and i can do all this, i am definitely planning on donating at least 50 bucks!! (because honestly if you have programmed this in, 50 dollars is a steal!). the other device(i wont mention it) that i was considering, looks like you have to pick your mouse up off the table, just to turn 180 degrees. I couldn't play like that.
Thanks in advance!

Oh, p.s. is there a place in the states where i can get A USB 2.0 to UART TTL 6PIN Module Serial Converter CP2102? (The no soldering required one). All the ones on ebay i see are from hong kong, china etc. Would probably take 20years to get here
Good Day all!

Welocme
Providing you have a mouse which supports a decent DPI you should have a problem with doing a complete 360.
I currently use a cyborg R.A.T 9 Wireless and can get a full 360 out of it. the DPI for this mouse is 6400DPi.
Ive always been a PC gamer from day 1. same scenario with you "all my pals play ps3 and xbox" so first i had a frag FX (Wank) then i went to the spit fish (Better but mouse to big and abit laggy) NOW i use GIMX and it kills these 2 hands down for a few reasons.
1. no lagg/delay
2. can use MY OWN mouse and keyboard. not mouse and nun chuck
3. CHEAPER (£8 to make)
4, Im way sharper than my mates with controllers.
5.Customisable Macros.
hope this clears things up
