Hello
I'm willing to buy Raspberry pi for gimx therefore I would like to ask some questions. Thanks in advance.
1. Is there any support for the Raspberry pi? There is package of 0.51 version for Raspbian, but is it fully functional?
2. Does it have GUI? Is the configuration procedure the same as on Ubuntu?
3. Does bluetooth/USB connection work ?

Moved to GIMX Discussion section.
The package 0.51 for Raspbian is only a test version. There still is some work to get GIMX work optimally on the raspberry pi.

Okay, are you going to work on it?
I will buy Raspi anyway for XBMC. Going to test it with gimx for sure.
Thanks

Sure, but as my RPI is broken, I have no idea about when.

Okay, got my pi.
First impressions - It's really slow in GUI. Network browsing is a pain. However, it plays 720p videos nicely.
Now's the time for GIMX. Using weezy Raspian.
I'm not an expert in linux stuff. I'm having trouble installing gimx package.
As root I'm using this command.
dpkg -i *.deb
gives me that
What am I doing wrong? Gimx-serial, Gimx-bluetooth, etc. appears in the "Games" tab, but I cannot launch it.

You need a network connection so that dpkg can download the dependencies.

I was connected to the ethernet. In order to download the dependencies I had to use
I'm facing another problem now.
I have connected the Bluetooth dongle just like on my netbook, but this time I have ~7 sec delay.
Your post:
What's more interesting is the possibility to make the device work as a "usb proxy" (in the case the board has both usb host and usb otg), just like the XIM3!
Does it mean I could just connect raspi directly with PS3 via that kind of cable?

No. The raspberry pi does not have an usb otg port.

What a shame!
Unchecking "force update" reduces the bluetooth lag, but it's still unplayable.
