8 Months later and I still don't have GIMX working

I bought a teensy++ and a serial converter 8 months ago so I could make a DIY USB adapter. My problem has not been resolved yet. I have a corsair m65 mouse and a logitech k200 keyboard. I have followed the tutorial closely several times and the ps3 still wont register the input. Could I possibly get some help? I have 30 days to return the mouse and keyboard in case this doesn't work.
