Having problems w/ Mouse Calibration

Using a Razer Naga for BO2 for PS3. I dont understand how to setup the deadzone properly amoung a few others. Moving the mouse around fast is nice and smooth but when i try at a slower motion it seems to be skipping frames of sort. Ive read through the tutorial but its still confusing to me.
