connect xbox controller to gimx

hi i would like to play xbox with my xbox controler on the gimx.
do i need my computer running all the time to do this?
I use a Cronus device btw, can Anyone telll me how to set this up?
i tried to connect it , but it says my joystick wasnt found, any help?

can i change sensitivities for my xbox controller
and do i need mky pc running all the time

Its a wired controller, with a cronus. I tried using config file PS3_WINDOWS_X360PAD_UML , but no luck for me. I hope u can help me.
Can you change sensitivity with only the xbox controller aswel? I dont use a mouse and keyboard. thnx

Hu?! The whole point is to play with mouse and keyboard...

Using a mouse and a keyboard to play a FPS game is only a single use case amongst many others...

If the only thing you want is to change the sensitivity of the controller, why don't you change the in-game sensitivity??
