Sorry for the late reply.

The bdaddr tool can be modified, but as I don't have any Atheros dongle, I can't test it.
I will try to find one, but it may take some time...

Meanwhile, you better should buy a compatible dongle.

EDIT: I found one ! I will test it ASAP.
