Simucube 2 not recognized in GIMX config

Post by Enigma2806 »

Hello All,

I am able to get the GIMX config to recognize the wheel, and pedals on the Axis properly. When I go to the Overall and do auto detect to get the wheel detected so I can enable force feedback, nothing happens. It does not detect it. It detects button clicks form the keyboard, or mouse clicks etc, but nothing where spinning the wheel.

Was wondering if there were any suggestions.

Thanks!

Hi.

I have a Simucube 1 and I can get it to be detected in the Overall-->Force Feedback Tweaks, but still have no force feedback in games :|
I guess FFB for simucubes is not implemented :(

Per a guy on Youtube who I bought the gIMX from, he has full FFB in GT7 with it…. But for whatever reason I can’t even get it to recognize it, even though it will recognize the axis.

Here is the video if it helps you.

Ok, I got it to work.

My problem was that I installed the latest Logitech Gaming Software. The latest does not support the G27.
I uninstalled it and installed this one, for the G27:

https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/artic ... cing-Wheel (Select Windows 10)
https://download01.logi.com/web/ftp/pub ... 10_x64.exe

After this one...it immediatly recognized the GIMX G27 and I began to have FFB on the Simucube.
Use the USB controller driver to set the wheel rotation, also.

Hope this solves your problem too.
