Your USB to Serial Adapter does not work in the newest ubuntu version (11.10)??

Here is the solution:

You have to de-install "brltty" -> Restart -> Plug-In -> will be recognized!

It's fixed in the latest brltty. You only need to apply system updates.

EDIT: I'm experiencing another issue that causes the controller data to glitch. This only happens in Linux.
