Using a third-party adapter, no ports found?

Hello all,
I've bought and assembled this 3rd party adapter: http://www.diygadget.com/tiao-gimx-gboa ... board.html
and I've checked their website and used this tutorial: http://www.tiaowiki.com/w/How_to_Instal ... MX_Adapter
And I've used atmel flip. Now, I've run into the issue using the gimx launcher where it says I have no ports and I don't know how I would
add a port. The connection is USB to mini usb.
