Not sure what's going on.

My setup. Windows 7 64.

I'm using a Teensy 2.0 ++ loaded with firmware EMUG29PS4 atmega32u4. Wired to a Kedsum brand (amazon) serial converter CP2102 based.

I installed the Logitech software, so my wheel is recognized by the PC. Also installed USBdk and cp210# drivers.

Do the whole PS4 start up procedure and launch GIMX

Output: DIY USB
Port: COM3
Input: Physical Devices
Config: LogitechDrivingForceGT_G29.xml

Check: OK
Start ->

Command Window:
option -c with value 'LogitecDrivingForceGT_G29.xml'
option -p with value 'COM3'
subpos flag is set
force_updates flag is set
native mode is already enabled for HID device ############### (some huge string of characters)
Detected USB adapter: G29 PS4.
using default refresh period: 5.00ms

Go to the PS4 and hit the "PS" button on the wheel and nothing. No controller recognized.

Hit PS button on DS4 (which is off). Nothing.

At this point I tried messing with the GIMX config utility, loaded the Driving Force.xml. Clicked auto detect, hit a button it sees them.

Both DS4, and the wheel are listed under devices. And all buttons seem to be detected after hitting "auto detect"

From what I can tell all USB ports have power saving turned off in device manager.

Any ideas

alright, fixed. boy do I feel stupid. It would probably help if I installed the right firmware. :roll:

Took me 2 hours to figure out the naming of the firmware files applied to the chip model on the Teensy.

guess the atmega one is for the regular old teensy 2.0.

Hi,

Just got the Teensy 2.0 and also the Kedsum also from Amazon. I'm getting errors saying that I'm not getting an adapter failed and no controller. Just want to make sure, on the wiring on the Kedsum, did you use the GND from the other side or the GND that is grouped with the other 2? Or is it possible you can take a pic of the wiring for me?

Thank you,
