Welp, just like my intro thread said, I will be posting my issues (Was hoping I would get it done without any hassle)
So, followed the dummies guide...

adapter_detect failed
I was reading some other posts by other G27 users and now I am lost in all the solutions and fixes, I dunno where I am at now.
Wanted to get a screenshot of my devices and stuff but I had to take keyboard out when I had it all plugged in as I run out of USB slots lol.
I can probably manage this if it helps tho.
Please man, I feel like I am so close to getting this to work after all this anticipation. Can you help me out?

Re: Win7 + G27 + DIY + PS4
Looks like a wiring issue. Try to swap Rx and Tx. If it doesn't help, post a clear photo showing the wiring.

Re: Win7 + G27 + DIY + PS4
I tried swapping the Yellow/Red but it showed the exact same log.
I don't have the same colour of wires so I tagged them with a bit of coloured electrical tape.

Re: Win7 + G27 + DIY + PS4
It is hard to distinguish the purple/grey wire on the teensy pics
Looking at the picture, it is
Purple (into D3) - Grey (Into D2) and Blue (into GND)
Grey is my "yellow wire"
Purple is my "Red wire"
Blue is my "Green wire"
Typical I get different coloured wires just to make life more confusing :p

Re: Win7 + G27 + DIY + PS4
Ok GOT IT WORKING XD
lots of uninstalling and re-installing and inevitably the wire swap did the trick!
But...new issue. The G27 randomly stopped working on my first test.
Just like this guy posted here: http://gimx.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5& ... 7837#p7837
Is there a known way to stop this?
(AWESOME device and software! Thank you very much)

Please enable logging to a file, start GIMX and reproduce the issue, and post the log.

Re: Win7 + G27 + DIY + PS4
Also I received this today: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FTDI-FT232RL- ... Sw-jhUGnn~
I was looking at a thread with a similar problem and you mentioned the FT232RL.
Can this be used as a replacement for the CP2102?
(I didnt realise it came with a female micro usb instead of the male ordinary usb like the CP2102 version. Made me think I got the wrong thing)
