DS4 problems, Windows 7

Dear matlo,

first of all, thank you for making this awesome software! I've been waiting for ages to play with my G27 on the PS4.

So, I am having some problems with the DS4 (I believe). After having some troubles with the G27 -> PS4 config, I tried running the Dualshock config on my dualshock to test it out. Turns out that I am getting the same log error message that I get when running the G27 config: http://imgur.com/OPeyymJ
(FYI: when I press the "Check" button on the GIMX, it says its OK!)

I read some posts here and on NeoGAF and found out that libusb was sort of needed to run the software. So, I installed the driver on the Wireless Controller, but now the Windows doesn't reconigze anymore as a Game Controller and the GIMX also does not reconigze: http://imgur.com/gLqxLs5

I even tried to change the controller's name on the Dualshock config (PS4 Controller -> Wireless Controller) but I have found no success: http://imgur.com/r6w919I

And, in both cases, if I tried to run GIMX, I got the same log that was displayed in the first picture.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

(P.S.: sorry for my english. I am brazilian and, in case you were wondering, my OS is portuguese).

Hello,

This error generally means the wiring is incorrect. Did you try to swap Rx and Tx?

PS: libusbK is only required for the Xbox One.

Hi Matlo!

I swapped the pins, and I were still getting some error message. Reading the log, I remembered that I didn't had installed the usbdk at the end of the GIMX installation. After installation, it's working :) Thanks! Now I can play some PCars on PS4 :D

Just for your information, this was the error I got:

option -l with value `log.txt'
option -c with value `Dualshock4.xml'
option -p with value `COM3'
status flag is set
subpos flag is set
force_updates flag is set
native mode is already enabled for HID device \\?\hid#vid_046d&pid_c29b#6&1e851d93&0&0000#{4d1e55b2-f16f-11cf-88cb-001111000030} (PID=c29b)
Detected USB adapter: G29 PS4.
libusb_init: Entity not found.
No controller was found on USB buses.
adapter_detect failed

I fount odd that, while running the dualshock config, it detected the "G29 PS4" adapter (even if I didnt had the g27 plugged in). Is this normal?

And, again, thanks!

You're not correctly interpreting the log: it says GIMX detected a USB adapter with the G29 PS4 firmware.
