Download and try the PS4_KillZoneShadowFall.xml config.
Press f and move your mouse in the desired touchpad direction.

It works fine on my side.
Did you keep f pressed while moving the mouse?

Yes of course, GIMX 5.0 software and EMUPS4 5.0 firmware.
Does the touchpad of the connected DS4 work?

Please enable terminal output, press f and move the mouse, release f, press alt-tab to release the mouse, and copy-paste the entire content of the terminal in a post.
