hi.
I have installed the latest gimx 3.5.1 on my ubuntu 14.10 64 bits.
I choose the PS3_Crysis2.xml as config but I play bioshock (1) right now. It was working except the mouse. I tried later to convert sensitivity as said in some tutorial but it never worked. gimx-config or gimx-fpsconfig were crashing or not responding.
I have difficulty to change or tweak any config.
How do you make a custom config file for bioshock ? which one could the best for bluetooth/PS3 and bioshock to start with ?

Hi,
Did you try to calibrate the mouse
as explained on the wiki?

I'll try but I don't understand a single thing.
Edit:
I can give you a little more detail:
I have a Dell Inspiron 15 (3521) with BCM43142 Bluetooth chipset. I use Ubuntu 14.10 64 bits.
It was a pain in the *** to get bluetooth working on Ubuntu/Linux. I had to find and extract the binary hex from windows driver, convert it to .hcd and install it.
I just bought a combo wireless via USB keyboard/mouse Logitech mk240 and wanted to try it on the PS3. It works out of the box but not in game like Bioshock so I had to use gimx.
gimx-launcher was able to change the MAC adress of the integrated bluetooth on the laptop.
I had fear to not being able to revert it. But I found that by using bdaddr, it was possible to revert to the old MAC address.

when I try to modify a existing config with "Edit config" in gmx-launcher I got that error "Can't read inputs!" and gimx-config show up empty!
With "Edit fps config" it's the same, it comes up empty execpt I don't have the error

Is it possible that the mouse is not working because it uses the same plug that the keyboard ? or USB port ?
Or because it has low DPI (1000) ?

The recommended Ubuntu version is 14.04.
The recommended bluetooth chips are CSR-Bluecore4 and CSR8510.

so I tweaked the mouse calibration thing and it almost work. But it's unusable.
I have to reconfigure and recalibrate
