PS4 + Raspbian

Post by CHaos.Gentle »

Hey,

Thanks for your great effort in giving us the possibilty to play with consols and m/k.

Poorly I got some issues here.
After lots of trying I finally found out how to get a pairing done.
What I did:
1. Installed GIMX on raspbian
2. Started GIMX-launcher and dl'ed configs for PS4 and closed it
3. Edited one config with fps-config
4. Started GIMX-launcher loaded the config
4.1 Set output to BT / PS4
4.2 Plugged a BT device
4.3 Plugged a DS4
4.4 Plugged the teensy (Tried it with the CP2102 side of the DIY USB adapter all the time...finally got the clue, that I dont need it)
4.5 Switched on PS4 and plugged the teensy (both without the CP2102 device)
4.6 Waited and plugged the teensy back to the pi. Gimx-config now showed a pairing.
4.7 Unplugged teensy and DS4
4.7 Clicked start

The gui reacts to mouse and keyboard but the PS4 doens't receive any commands. Gui shows PS pressed but PS4 ignores it. It seems that I am doing something wrong.

In the pairing drop down box it says PS4-BT-address BT-dongle-address (HEX-codes). Is that right? I wonder if the BT-address of the BT-dongle is changed to the one of the DS4.

Hope you can help :) Thank you very much

Hi,

Once GIMX is started, you just have to press the PS button of the real DS4 controller.
