Arduino Leonardo atmega32u4+CP2102 USB no new port found

I ve problems with arduino builder. I am stuck at this portion of the tutorial:
The following message should appear: "Forcing reset using 1200bps open/close on COMX...".
Quickly unplug/replug the atmega32u4 board, or connect RST to GND twice.
When the message appears i unplug the gnd wire that Connect the usb converter to the board but the new port not found messagge appears. I m using male to female jumpwires because i am a total noob. Tried to switch the rx/tx wires but nothing. Tomorrow i ll upload some photos

The disconnection/reconnection has to be performed on the USB port, not on the pins.

ok, this is how i solved the step i was stuck on:
When you have to upload the firmware into the board (atmega32u4 Arduino Leonardo in my case) you do not need to connect the usb to uart board at all.Just connect the Arduino Leonardo via the Usb-Usb mini cable to pc and the arduino Builder will find it and you only need to load the Hex file into the COM port and you can skip this step too: "Quickly unplug/replug the atmega32u4 board, or connect RST to GND twice."
I ve found the solution on a spanish forum, thank you so much Matlo for this amazing adapter/software
Tested with Driveclub and it's perfect: no lag, ffb, H shifter working,ecc...
You made my G27 (almost useless) coming back again. You re the best.
P.s. Btw My OS is Windows 10-64 bit

This only works once. Loading a GIMX firmware reprograms the USB stack, which makes the Arduino Builder tool unable to find the board.

this means that i can't change the firmware anymore?
