PS4 -diy USB - mouse works keyboard does not

I am having a strange issue. Everything installs fine and the movements and buttons from my mouse are fine but for some reason GimX 3.5 does not recognize any keyboard inputs. I started the software with the gui checked and you can see all the mouse inputs but no response from the keyboard. even in the PS4 anything mapped to the mouse buttons works there also. Is there something I'm doing wrong. Keyboard works all the other times. Not sure what is going on. Tried other keyboards same thing. Any suggestions would be great.

Matlo thanks but i found out my issue. I had the multiple keyboard and mouse option checked off. I am running it on a laptop so the touch pad and laptop were splitting the inputs. Works great now. FYI - One strange thing is, like i said i have full control with my mouse and keyboard and the PS4 Does recognize the DS4 but when I click on the "Check" button it tells me something like "no joystick found Sony .............." don't remember the rest. I do not get any errors when I click on start and it works great. All I have to do is press the button assigned to the PS button. Thanks again.
