It works fine on my side.
I tested GIMX 1.01 in Windows 7 64bits, with latest 4.46 firmware.
I suggest you to try running GIMX using a Ubuntu 13.04 live usb key. If it does not work either, this means there is something wrong with the hardware.

I swapped the rx and tx around on the cp2102 and works!!!!

Not so lucky here... booting the Ubuntu usb key now. My first Linux experience, wish me luck.

No luck getting linux to boot from the Live Key, not sure if it was my usb drive or not, it would get to the boot screen but then say file unavailable when I hit alt+enter to see why it was taking so long to boot.
I did try it with another windows 7 laptop and my second PS3 (FAT) and it didn't work with those devices either. Very weird. The teensy shows up as a joystick on the pc and also on the ps3 it'll take over controller one but the inputs just don't come across.

Thanks for this! I was messing around for like 20 minutes before I came to the forums. This fixed it for me. Should have come here first!
