Gimx adapter not working (SOLVED)

I've been using the adapter for more than 6 months. I separated the usb cable to use it for something else and put it back in the adapter and the adapter stopped working.

bluetooth connection method: not using
GIMX adapter: bought from your shop
list the parts you used: adapter, usb cable that came with adapter, joystick, ps4 controller with my own USB cable

if you don't get a "usb adapter detected, controller type is ..." message in the log, post a clear photo showing the wiring

firmware 8.0 86x_64/EMUPS4.hex (not sure where the folder and file are)

other: surface pro 5 video card
the gaming target: PS4
the game: No Man Sky
the controller: thrustmaster joystick

Error: failed to read packet header from the GIMX adapter

It may be wrong COM port for uart side, recheck which COM port gimx was using.

It's the right com port.

I also just uninstalled gimx.
Rebooted
Installed gimx.
Rebooted.
Flashed EMUPS4.hex and it worked.
But still get header error.

Try another cable?
If that does not work, do all the leds on the gimx and uart light up?

Did console power on? AVR side need power from console usb port.

I tried a different cable and same issue.
The lights turn on. On one side it's red and the other green.
Console (PS4) was powered on.

Do you use a usb multiplier? In my case the problem was there

Does your PS4 USB port work?

Its working now. I tried so many different hardware combinations. Ultimately I think it was the USB cable between the adapter and the PS4. I tried several cables and one worked. Thanks everyone for helping!
