DietPi || unable to edit configuration file

hi i am having issues with launching the game launcher as it gives me this error:

tried to re download the config but same issue. I also get an error when opening the gimx-config "it is not recommended to run as root user"

Hi

You need to update the firmware on your adapter to 8.0 currently its on 5.8 please update and post the result back here when you try to run it again.
Please Remember to Post your Log file in the support section , that way its easier and faster to start identifying the issue thus helping you to sort it out so you can enjoy GIMX :D .

seems to be working now after updating the firmware. Didn't know that there was a new firmware as the same DIY cable is working on windows. Thanks!

When GIMX 8 was released it came with updated firmware
Please Remember to Post your Log file in the support section , that way its easier and faster to start identifying the issue thus helping you to sort it out so you can enjoy GIMX :D .
