Multiple devices

Post by sayser »

Now I have a steering wheel connected through the gimx adapter. Can I still add a standalone device (shifter or clutch) at the same time as the steering wheel?

Yes you can.
Just add new device config along with that wheel.

- Firstly connect device to PC.
- Open gimx-launcher, select wheel config which you wanna add device.
- Open gimx-config via menu File / edit config.
- Press Auto Detect button and press shifter or pull pedal (if device is a clutch pedal, do the samething in axis tab).
- Bind control.
- Save.

Thanks a lot, but there is a problem when you click on the autodetect button, the Gimp-config program hangs and does not respond to anything

After pressing Auto Detect button, you must input your device then gimx will detect that action. What is your device? Maybe you need to switch to axis tab and use Auto Detect button there.
Make sure your device's driver was installed or gimx won't detect anything.
