FEEDBACK WORKS but no WHEEL INPUT(GT SPORT): SimRacingBay OSW + Fanatec V3

Post by tedwar205 »

I am not getting any inputs from my steering wheel axis in game. All other buttons and pedals work, and i can feel the FFB coming through the wheel, but the game does not recognize any changes in the steering angle and the car remains straight no matter how much I turn the wheel.

I had been following wiki and jseyerles guides.

Thanks for any help!

Remove joystick correction for the wheel axis (Overall > Joystick corrections).

Thanks, that worked.

A question about pedal calibration: It feels like im having to push the pedal too far for the right braking force, It feels like too much of the braking is 'deeper' in the pedal. What config parameters should I be looking at? Or how can i cut off the last 15-20% of the pedal.

Open the config with gimx-config, go to the axis tab, click on the line for the pedal, click on modify, and click on apply. Then you'll be requested to calibrate the pedal. Just don't fully push the pedal when requested. Save your config and voilà :)
