Logitech Driving Force EX + Rpi + GIMX

Post by dceriman »

Hi,
Using straight forward how-to found here I have successfully tested G25 on Rpi model B+ with Pro Micro adapter and played a lot of hours on PS4 with F1 2017 and WRC 7.

I have decided to test also Logitech Driving Force EX using same GIMX adapter, with different configuration. I have found config on github so I presumed it will be easy peasy doing this.

Nevertheless, when I connect everything, DF EX lights just start flickering and start some strange movement left-right. Same wheel is normally functioning on Windows games, so I presume it is something connected with Rpi.

- RPi have correct version of firmware update
- I have good power supply, same that secured G25 playing for hours without freeze
- I tried setting max_usb_current in config file, did not helped

Can someone point me in some direction?

Thanks in advance

Log gathering is different on RPi and Jessie, I presume.
Is it enough to stop gimx and start in from command line and gather that? I could not find how-to for headless Linux setup.

Thanks again.

It is possible to generate the log file from the command line.
