@ckaiycool, thank you for the config and info on XIM.

I was having a hard time figuring out a playable mouse sens, too. for comparison, try something like this (12,000 DPI):
<axis id="rel_axis_3" label="Aiming - y axis">
<device type="mouse" id="0" name=""/>
<event type="axis" id="y" dead_zone="1" multiplier="0.20" exponent="1.00" shape="Circle"/>
</axis>
<axis id="rel_axis_2" label="Aiming - x axis">
<device type="mouse" id="0" name=""/>
<event type="axis" id="x" dead_zone="1" multiplier="0.20" exponent="1.00" shape="Circle"/>
</axis>2

Please let me know how it goes.

I'll try it out but you have extremly high acceleration and almost no dead zone value and really low sensitivity.
Is there a reason for these settings?

Here is my finalized config that works across all COD games on playstation 3

Do you use this config on playstation 3?
First of all the mouse does not even almost recognize mouse movement at all.
The low dead zone fault on this, its like youre not barely touching the analog stick (more like blowing on it and hope it moves :lol: )
That high acceleration will not give a 1:1 feeling.
And that sensitivity setting will mess up the x/y ratio.

Do you play like this on ps3?.
I strongly would tell you to use my config https://forum.gimx.fr/viewtopic.php?f=9 ... e874625bae and set the DPI to 12000 in gimx and then only change the sensitivity to you liking through gimx calibration tool (F9).

@ckaiycool

Sorry - no, I don't use this on PS3. The config I shared is a WIP (work-in-progress)..but my 12000 DPI mouse movement (you earlier described as "pixel tracking") is incredibly better with low sens and high acceleration.

Thanks for the feedback. I didn't mean to throw you off..I just found low sens and high acceleration makes for a more smooth translation.

Man you made me confused there for a second 😅. You play on Ps4 i assume.
Yes i 100% agree on higher acceleration and lower sensitivity. I even got really good resaults with that on the first config of COD MW2 with 0.60 acceleration and lower sens. But doing more testning with that high acceleration made it hard to predict where the crosshair would end up. It should always end up on the same place even if doing flick motions to super slow motions.
The description in the wiki explains this to, the higher sensitivity has bigger jumps between pixels.
