[Request][PS3][G27] Hori Racing Wheel Overdrive for Xbox One

Post by maddoglee »

Hi,

I have looked through the literature and configs and can't for the life of me, figure out which config to use for a Hori Racing Wheel for the XBOX One. It's recognised as an Apex ONE Racing Wheel in windows.
I'm trying to get this working for Daytona USA on the PS3.
All the downloadable configs seem to emulate a g29. I really want this to emulate a G27.
If anyone can point me toward the config to use, that would be great!!
If there are any USB/ other XBOX racing wheel configurations to try, I'd be happy to try that as well.

Cheers,

Lee.

Just use firmware "G27PS3" and create a new config for your specific wheel.
There're so many wheels, we can not provide configs for all of those :)

Actually, I've been trying to do that, but its impossible for this wheel.
The functions don't work in MS Windows, so I can't configure it at all :(
A bit annoying considering that it is licenced by Microsoft.
I got my G27 working on the PS4, so my adaptor definitely works!
Oh well.. giving up on this one.. feel free to close the thread.
Thanks for your quick response!

Looks like this wheel is not working on windows PC.
The product is not compatible with Xbox 360 and Windows PC. Note: Refer to the PDF attached below in Technical Specification for manual

I'm pretty sure it was a bad manual, they don't care too much about a low budget wheel

hahah yeah, it is a cheapo wheel... its just annoying that I really only want to get it working for a mate to play Daytona USA on PS3! Nothing fancy.. oh well..
Actually I had another quick question.
Can I create a config (using gimx-config) in Linux?
I just had an idea that I might be recognised in Linux, so I could possibly create a config then run it on a raspberry PI, which is what I was intending to do in the first place? hmmm. I couldn't find anything definitive in the wiki.. it looks like the screenshots for gimx-config is in Windows.
Thanks for your help and replies btw!

Gimx-config interface is same as Windows. But I don't think there is any differences. A device still need genuine driver to work.

I managed to get GIMX working on a pi, and although this racing wheel is recognised as a USB device (lsusb), none of the commands are recognised in GIMX.
If you have one of these wheels, throw it out.. its crap!
