In fact, in GTSport there is no setup for the wheel beside the button assignment.

As I found here, the automatic calibration on game start could be an issue for GIMX users:

This could be a hint to my issue:

Where could those "change wheel range commands" come?
I can still only use the middle range of my wheel. And today I had to set the permissions again via "sudo chmod 666 /dev/uhid
" to access my wheel via GIMX.

Really strange.

Now, I'm one step closer again after adding the following to the corrections list within the config:

Code: Select all

        <correction low_value="-8192" low_coef="8192" high_value="0" high_coef="8192">
          <device type="joystick" id="0" name="Logitech Logitech Formula Force RX"/>
          <event type="axis" id="0"/>
        </correction>
The Wheel is not really centered, the usable rotation range is somewhere around 120 degree and it has a horrible wide deadzone. But It's better then before.
Any advise for me?

Remove the joystick correction and adjust the axis sensitivity instead.
If you need a different axis sensitivity depending on the car, configure different profiles, and toggle the profile while playing.

Hi PMK,
I just posted a config for the Driving Force EX, a similar wheel from Logitech, here:
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2354&p=13133#p13133. I don't think it's gonna work if you copypaste it completely because your wheel is named Formula Force RX, but check out the axis sensitivity multipliers, as my wheel also has 200° of rotation and I've found between 0.0014 and 0.0018 to work the best for me.

Let me know if it works, or share yours if you made your own config so I can see if yours is better maybe?

Also, Matlo, could you post the official Driving Force EX config from the raspberry pi here? I'm on windows and there isn't one. Thanks
