Slow ingame movement

Post by Kekskrümel »

Hi,

I have a problem with late ingame movement when moving the analog stick.

In the GUI from gimx it looks quit ok. I only need to move the stick minimal before I can see movement. But if I play some games xbox with cronus or ps3 with the adapter it need some more movement before it moves ingame.

So shooter are not good to play.

Changing the deadzone parameter doesnt help.

Here is the profile: http://kekskruemel.tv/vJoy.xml

I am using a Nvidia shield with MCLauncher and VJoy to translate the Shield buttons and sticks, all works fine beside the late ingame movement.
Like mentioned in the GIMX GUI all looks fine with the movement so I think there isn't any problem with the shield or MCLauncher/Vjoy.

What have I missed here ?

I am Using version 1.02

Thx & Greetings

Is it a latency issue or a dead zone issue?

Enable Output>Terminal, move a stick, and look at the values.

What are the min & max values?

Joystick don't know the version but the files are created 13.6.2011

I have the same problem with cronus and gpp mode.

In the gui output the movement is ok and I can't see any deadzone.

You have spotted a bug: issue 244.

This issue should not happen with the latest EMUPS3 firmware + the latest GIMX.
