Trigger Intensity

Post by attackroot »

Hello

I have a problem regarding trigger intensity some games have an option that allows to have trigger intensity, I saw that rev1193 and rev1194 were made recently but I have tried to use for buttons cross square triangle and r1 as buttons but it doesn't work.

Some games like GTA4 as it was explained already here have that option.

What I would like to know is how to make this work or will it only work under the tab axis or overall?

I already tried the Axis tab and the Overall tab but it isn't working any tips why it isn«t working or is this not implemented yet?

Ok here's my config, I want to make it possible so that strafe left, strafe right and jump have intensity.

I don't want to use mouse to accomplish this so the L1, R1 and cross button can they have trigger intensity?

This example shows how to control the intensity of "cross" with mouse wheel up/down: http://pastebin.com/9pQMfJrw

Hello thank you very much for showing your input but based on what you have shown me, does this mean that controller the trigger intensity can only be applied to the mouse?

I haven't add the time to test this will do when I come home tonight.

Thanks

You can control the intensity with any button from any mouse/keyboard/joystick.

I have tried both solutions that you gave to me and looked at the terminal to see if space was being inputted which it was so no problems there.

I tried on Windows via the USB Adapter (Teensy)
The configs were having problem which was saying:
bad element name: down

Then I manually edited the files and remove the down element which happenned to didn't work as on the game nothing was happenning

Then I tried on Ubuntu 11.10 via bluetooth dongle:
Same thing nothing happens but this time I had no problems regarding the config like in Windows.

So overall I tried both solutions the mouse and the keyboard version and nothing happenned it's not working

I just tried with the latest source code and with the config example I posted on pastebin, and it works fine...

What version(s) are you using?
Did you try with the latest source code?
