Your teensy++ seems to work fine.
Please open your config file with notepad, and copy-paste its contents in a post.

Re: DIY USB adapter error
Which config file do you want? The config file under C://Program FIles/GIMX/Config is empty. When I try to open up the BF3 config file with notepad, it won't let me it says "Cannot find the C:\ProgramFiles\GIMX\config\PS3_Battlefield3_McKack.xml file." When I open up the desktop icon of GIMX-Config with notepad, it has a long page with a lot of strange characters. Could you specify exactly which config file you want?
Re: DIY USB adapter error
The config file that you are selecting in gimx-serial.
There seems to be a problem with your windows files.
Can you open the C:\Program Files\GIMX\config directory with the explorer?
Do you run GIMX 0.40 or GIMX 0.30? (there is no reason to use GIMX 0.30)

Re: DIY USB adapter error
I am running version .40. When I open up the config file under C:\\ program files\ GIMX\ it says that it is empty. I have tried opening up the config files under gimx-serial, and they all say that they cannot be found. I'm starting to think its a problem with my windows files too. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Please open the C:\Program Files\GIMX directory with the explorer, take a screenshot, upload it somewhere, and post it.

I'm gonna be out of town for today and the next two days. I'll respond once I get back.
