I'm a little bit confused between the m/p, dz, expo etc on the gimx.config, what are these in relation to the calibration option on gimx.bluetooth?
I've been editing the config files multiplier etc to tweak my settings but I read that this may break the relationship between the X/Y ratio, is this true? if so, what should my base line configuration be on the gimxconfig files be? are these the 'normalised' values as listed in the calibration thread? then I edit the mouse calibration values?
Everytime I enter the calibration, the previous numbers are reset, do the previous values remain until you enter the calibration mode again?

Re: calibration question
Did you read the Configuration & Calibration tutorial?
How do you leave the calibration mode? If you press ESC, the values are lost. If you press ctrl+F1, and then ESC, the values should be saved.

Re: calibration question
exactly as you described. I'm changing a value say X/Y from 1.00 to 1.56. I use ctrl+f1 then it says config saved in red text, I use escape to exit. If I go back into config mode, the value is reset back to 1.00. Is this correct?
Re: calibration question
Nope didn't see that one!! its the most likely culprit. I will give it a try later!
Re: calibration question
I changed the permissions as per the FAQ and the calibration is still not saving.
drwxrwxr-x 3 pam pam 4096 2012-05-05 14:54 config
drwxrwxr-x 2 pam pam 4096 2012-05-01 19:03 macros
those are my permissions, are they correct?

Re: calibration question
Thanks Matlo, I thought it was something I was doing wrong. What does the status mean by fixed? does this mean in the next update this issue will be gone?
