so, finally i got a PS3 and tested GIMX with BlackOps
My Hardware:
Core i5, Win7 64bit
Serial: FTDI, ATmega32u4
Mouse: Logitech MX518 (1800dpi i think)
What i noticed:
with 250Hz it jerks strongly. not playable
but even with 100Hz it still jerks slightly. Not only the crosshair while looking around. While running/sprinting it jerks too. Its like if i had a bad internet connection with a lot of short lags. In private matches (offline) i have the same.
With the Gamepad or even the FragFX it runs smoothly.
Whats my problem?
the old mouse? Win7?
[FIXED] Jerky movements
Re: Is GIMX more precise than other stuff?
What's your mouse polling rate?
Re: Jerky movements
thanks,
i ordered a Logitech G400, i hope it will help.
by the way: the G400 is 15€ cheaper than my old MX518 still is, wtf?!^^
best regards

Re: Jerky movements
yeah, the g400 works greate! Just one thing... i still can only select 250Hz, although i switched sampling rate to 1000Hz with the Logitech software.
And now a big thanks. With a good mouse (and input-lag free Monitor) GIMX works really greate. I played some matches and i it was nice. Greate work!

Re: Jerky movements
There are two different rates: the rate of your mouse and the rate of the adapter.
1000Hz is not really relevant as it consumes more cpu. There's no advantage over 500Hz.
