Sorry for the delay. Here is the API monitor capture. The wheel was oscillating throughout the capture. Let me know if I missed something.

I can't access to the file. Could you please make it public?

I recently purchased an official pre-built GIMX adapter to use with my Simucube 2 Pro + PS4 + Gran Turismo sport. It all works well except for a bad oscillation when the wheel is centered.
I virtually got rid of all oscillations by configurating the peak/notch filter (that's actually what those filters are for.)
I think the oscillations are caused by the game trying to minimize the huge dead zone on the Logitech wheel bases - maybe if we could emulate a Thrustmaster T300 or T-GT instead, workarounds such as this wouldn't be necessary.

Here's my Simucube 2 Pro profile:
(copy it and paste it into Notepad, save it as "GTSport.ini" and use the import function of Simucube TrueDrive to import it.)

Code: Select all

[Simucube2_Profiles_V2]
Profile1\name=GT Sport
Profile1\dxsinegain=100
Profile1\dxsquaregain=100
Profile1\overallstrength=36
Profile1\dxspringgain=50
Profile1\dxfrictiongain=8
Profile1\dxdampinggain=8
Profile1\dxinertiagain=100
Profile1\bumbstoprange=0
Profile1\servo_torquebandwidth=8
Profile1\servo_peakingnotchfilter=3279696
Profile1\servo_damping=81
Profile1\servo_friction=59
Profile1\servo_inertia=99
Profile1\servo_reconfilter1=5
Profile1\filteringModes=0
Profile1\dxsawtoothgain=100
Profile1\dxtrianglegain=100
Profile1\steeringrange=900
Profile1\staticforcereduction=0
Profile1\ultralowlatency=16
Profile1\slewratelimit=900
Profile1\staticforcereductionspeed=1000
Profile1\gamma=1000
Profile1\centerdamping=0
Profile1\centerdampinganglespan=0
Profile1\simplesettings=33686308
Profile1\uibits=0
Profile1\varioussettings=1
Profile1\bumbstop=0

My in-game FFB settings are set to:
Force Feedback Max. Torque: 4
Force Feedback Sensitivity: 10

Remember to change the steering range in the TrueDrive app according to the current car! (can be read off the GIMX window when going on track.)

I really appreciate you taking the time to share your GT Sport profile, Skinny. I had a chance to try it today. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to resolve the issue for me. I triple validated my in-game settings as well. With that GT Sport profile, when I remove my hands from the wheel at a complete stop, the wheel will oscillate nearly 180 degrees from side to side, which is a step backwards from what I'm currently at. The test car I'm using a Lexus LC500 in case that helps.

Hello, I also have Simucube 2 Pro R2 with PS4 and Gran Turismo sport.

I am a newbie to driving but it seems to me that this oscillation does not happen to me.

Simucube 2 configuration:

Code: Select all

[Simucube2_Profiles_V2]
Profile1\name=PS5 GT SPORT
Profile1\dxsinegain=110
Profile1\dxsquaregain=100
Profile1\overallstrength=34
Profile1\dxspringgain=100
Profile1\dxfrictiongain=20
Profile1\dxdampinggain=15
Profile1\dxinertiagain=100
Profile1\bumbstoprange=0
Profile1\servo_torquebandwidth=9
Profile1\servo_peakingnotchfilter=0
Profile1\servo_damping=700
Profile1\servo_friction=200
Profile1\servo_inertia=0
Profile1\servo_reconfilter1=4
Profile1\filteringModes=0
Profile1\dxsawtoothgain=100
Profile1\dxtrianglegain=100
Profile1\steeringrange=545
Profile1\staticforcereduction=6800
Profile1\ultralowlatency=17
Profile1\slewratelimit=0
Profile1\staticforcereductionspeed=1000
Profile1\gamma=1000
Profile1\centerdamping=0
Profile1\centerdampinganglespan=0
Profile1\simplesettings=33686306
Profile1\uibits=0
Profile1\varioussettings=1
Profile1\bumbstop=1
I hope you can solve your problem.
My problem is that the Gimx disconnects, it may be due to the degrees of the steering wheel

Thanks jbarrag! While it does help with oscillations, the steering is way too light for my liking. I have very little feedback when cornering with that profile. What are your in game settings for Force Feedback Max. Torque and Force Feedback Sensitivity?

Here is my current profile in case that helps narrow down the issue or others would like to try it:

Code: Select all

[Simucube2_Profiles_V2]
Profile1\name=ps4gts
Profile1\dxsinegain=100
Profile1\dxsquaregain=100
Profile1\overallstrength=35
Profile1\dxspringgain=0
Profile1\dxfrictiongain=0
Profile1\dxdampinggain=0
Profile1\dxinertiagain=100
Profile1\bumbstoprange=0
Profile1\servo_torquebandwidth=8
Profile1\servo_peakingnotchfilter=658266
Profile1\servo_damping=1000
Profile1\servo_friction=150
Profile1\servo_inertia=250
Profile1\servo_reconfilter1=5
Profile1\filteringModes=0
Profile1\dxsawtoothgain=100
Profile1\dxtrianglegain=100
Profile1\steeringrange=900
Profile1\staticforcereduction=0
Profile1\ultralowlatency=16
Profile1\slewratelimit=3240
Profile1\staticforcereductionspeed=1000
Profile1\gamma=1000
Profile1\centerdamping=0
Profile1\centerdampinganglespan=0
Profile1\simplesettings=33686307
Profile1\uibits=0
Profile1\varioussettings=1
Profile1\bumbstop=2
Force Feedback Max. Torque: 4
Force Feedback Sensitivity: 2

Thank you sakserv, This weekend I will test your setup. Excuse me, but I'm a novice when it comes to setup and simulator driving. In Gran turismo sport I have not configured anything.

This is my GIMX configuration:
