Can i use a different brand of pedals on the PS4

My Logitech DFGT pedals are having random inputs both on PC and on PS4, so i was thinking of buying some fanatec pedals and using them as a replacement. However, i'm not sure if it is compatible with the gimx adapter. What i'm trying to say is: can i have separate pedal set from my DFGT wheel, and will it still be able to work on the PS4?
