Problem connecting.

Post by sundrik »

Hi!

I been trying to get this tested out. :)

i,ve changed the dongle adress correct.

next step would e to click 'Start' under 'emu'? But i have no idea what the 1 to 6 number tat i can choose means??

And under 'emuclient' i suppose 'grap' should be checked. what about 'output'. i tried 'gui', then a new window appears when i press 'start'. but it dissapears after 2sec. is this supposed to be this way?

I dont get any connection to the ps3, at any point. what am i doing wrong??

greatful for help..

Did you set the dongle address?
If yes, try another dongle!

Did you read the FAQ? There's a few things about connection issues.

the 'connection error' i got was because the sixaxis lost sync with the console.

Now i get the status/calibration to stay open. but without any feedback from mouse och buttons.
I dont see anything about this in the faqs?

I've tried all 'emu'. 0 to 6, but no go. I also choose 'terminal' instead of 'gui'. it only says:
max_axis_value: 255
connected to emu 0

Let 'emu' to 0. You should not change anything that's not mentioned in the tutorial!

If you turn off the ps3 and start emu, does the ps3 turn on?

If you're able to turn on the PS3, like Matlo mentions, you've probably just forgotten to replace the mouse/keyboard in the configuration.
