Hello friends
Beforehand I must to say that I rode everything but I can't fix the problem. In fact, I build two units for checking soldier or extra issue and I've got the same answer.
Im building the adapter with an Mini USB ATmega23U4 Pro and a CP2102 UART TTL 5PIN
The wheel is a Logitech Driving Force Pro
I connect the cables as in the image and I tried to cross RX-TX as well
Loading firmware from Gimx-launcher
Connect to laptop win10 PS4 controller, the weel and the USB cp2012 and in the PS4 the Leonardo
When I try to load gimx-launcher always the same error in both units.

Hi
Please post clear pictures of your adapter, can you also confirm that the firmware loading was successful and you did not receive any errors.

Re: Error: failed to read packet header from GIMX adapter
I sent you a pm with my email so you can send me photos.
Here are a few other things you can try.
Is the PS4 switched on when you start GIMX ?
Have you tried other cables between the console and the adapter ? (Some cables only have power wires and no data wires)
Is your wiring as follows, some boards are mislabeled so you can swap the TX and RX and try again
CP210x Leonardo
GND GND
TX RX
RX TX

Re: Error: failed to read packet header from GIMX adapter
Your wiring looks correct, I would recommend you solder the wires instead of using jumper cables.
Problem solved was firmware based
