Hi

This could be due to a faulty USB UART, bad soldering, cables/hubs also there were reports of this issue occurring on the RPi and was caused by an issue in the kernel.

I noticed your adapter seems to be using a cp2102 based UART since the speed is maxed at only 500000 bps

The log file is also not showing any information on the OS version as its been cut out, please don't remove this information.

Now I need the following

1. Details on when and where you got the adapter
2. Provide the missing part of the log file
3. On what version of the RPi are you running GIMX

You can test with other cables and remove any USB hubs, also if possible test it with a windows pc
