Game Input MultipleXer

I followed all the steps in this guide https://gimx.fr/wiki/index.php?title=Gu ... vice=Mouse in an attempt to get any inputs on PS3, to no avail. I have purchased the dongle from here: https://blog.gimx.fr/product/gimx-adapter/.

I am on a Windows machine, using USB to connect, with the most recent version of GIMX. I flashed the EMUPS4 firmware, loaded up a config, plugged it in to my PC and PS4, connected a host controller through USB, set the config to Horizon: Zero Dawn, and it worked perfectly, with no problems. I was able to control menus and such with the keyboard.

Doing the same thing with the PS3 using the PS3EMU firmware did not yield the same results. It says a host controller isn't required, so I did not plug one in. The config was set to Black Ops for PS3, and after starting the PS3 just says "An unknown USB device has been connected.", and none of the keyboard mappings work at all.

This is normal. And gimx worked great with EMUPS3 firmware.
My advice is that you should turn off dualshock 3 and re-select gimx to controller 1.

I can't change the controller to be the GIMX, because it's not detecting the GIMX as a controller. Even if no controller is connected to the PS3 at all aside from the GIMX, it still receives no input at all. Like I mentioned before, I'm making absolutely sure I'm on the correct firmware: EMUPS3.

Can you try again with another cable from gimx adapter to ps3?
