Logitech G920

Evening,

I’ve just received my GIMX adapter however having an issue. I’ve plugged all cables as per the wiki however when clicking the check it tells me the wheel isn’t found. I’ve got the Logitech gaming software which recognises the wheel but no such luck through the GIMX launcher.

Is there any tips to get this working?

Thanks

I think Logitech changed the G29/G920 wheel names. Try following configuration:

Code: Select all

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<root>
  <controller id="1" dpi="0" type="G29 PS4">
    <configuration id="1">
      <trigger type="" id="" name="" button_id="" switch_back="no" delay="0"/>

Just to note too I have connected my controller with multiple cables and pressed the ps button but again doesn't seem to do anything.

So I finally found that uninstalling LGS and installing Logitech G Hub fixes the FFB issue (tested both on PC games - LGS didn't have FFB and G Hub did) so tried running the same config with G Hub which every time I click 'start' crashes my PC, gives me the BSOD and reboots. Might be time to give up!

This is a known issue: https://github.com/matlo/GIMX/issues/646

Try killing lghub and lghub_agent to avoid the BSOD.

Any way of getting FFB to work if GHub is closed?

I do own a G920 and I definitely have FFB while GHub is closed.

Which game are you trying to play? Make sure it has G920 support.

For further help please post a debug log file with haptic flag enabled.

Thanks for the response.

I have tried games on both PS4 (GTS, F1 2019, PC2) as well as AC and rf2 on PC all without G Hub open and using LGS don’t give me FFB. Debug is on the response on this thread with haptic ticked. That is with LGS installed and G Hub closed. Not too sure where to go from here.

Please run the ffb_3 test app as explained here: https://gimx.fr/wiki/index.php?title=Fo ... back#ffb_x
And post the result as text.
