Downloading :-)

In the mean time, when starting EMU with terminal, i get the term window up, and i see the input from both mouse and keyboard - so that part works - still no response from ps3, so i'm hoping for a resolution in Lubuntu.

A few questions about Lubuntu -

First, what's the difference (I AM NOOB)?
Second run from CD, or install immediately?

Thanx for taking the time :D

-------------------------
Edit
-------------------------

If Lubuntu is just a light Ubuntu, there's no need - I've got a Envy 17", with intel i7 cpu, and 8gb ram.
Should really - REALLY not be necessary ;)
On another note, i installed 32bit version of Ubuntu, cause it said on homepaige that it was recommended, but might work better on mine with 64bit? :)

OMG BF3 just arraived by mail 2day - i really need to try this and go pwn!!

-------------------------
Edit2
-------------------------

No hope - still no progress, back to square zero with fresh inst of everything...
PS3 reacts to emu, emu sees mouse+keyboard strokes, but ps3 doesn't react :S

What ever I'm doing wrong i really hope someone can point it out, or make some more suggestions...

Regards

Did you got this "Dependency is not satisfiable: libdirectfb-1.2-9" error with the 32bit version of Ubuntu 11.10?

I did have this issue of dependency with Ubuntu 11.10. and I didn't find out how to reload the repository on 11.10.
Afterward I googled to download the missing dependencies.

Did you configured a network connection to access to the internet?

Nobody else has the same problem, I guess you are doing something wrong...

Yes network was OK.
I used Ubuntu on a live usb stick last night. as describe here http://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal- ... -as-1-2-3/

But I was not able to make changes (new repository, installed package and sixemu install and configuration) persistents.

I'm still looking on how to have the lightest installation (in resources consummation) on a persistent usb stick

I also triend lubuntu 11.04 last night and I was pretty happy with it. (still non persistent)

If you have any link or ideas.

The dependancy problem was on 32bit, but I solved it by fixing the .deb - why that worked I dont know :D

The problem I fought with last night, is to me still unknown, I think I tried everything exept what I found to be the sollution.

I have 2 Sixaxis' and I solved the problem by trying to spoof the other sixaxis' adress :)

Well now everything is working allright, and a new mouse is on it's way, so i can enjoy a better sensitivity :)

Thanx for taking the time to help out :D

What does that mean? Manually downloading and installing all required packages?

-----------------

How to fix broken packages

IconsPage/warning.png 'Broken packages' are packages that have unsatisfied dependencies. If broken packages are detected, Synaptic will not allow any further changes to the system until all broken packages have been fixed.

To fix broken packages

Choose Edit > Fix Broken Packages from the menu.

Choose Apply Marked Changes from the Edit menu or press Ctrl + P.

Confirm the summary of changes and click Apply.

If that does not help, then please follow this procedure:

Much simpler than i thought ^^

This is my third post in the topic, and it holds the answer to your question :)
